KOAN Sound formed in 2008 from the remnants of various musical projects, seamlessly blending a love for electronic music with natural musical sensibility. Since then, they’ve continued to evolve – crafting increasingly intricate and inspiring bodies of work.

Taking influence from artists like The Prodigy, Amon Tobin and Noisia, KOAN Sound’s productions are known for their dark, captivating basslines. Over the years, they’ve gained support from producers, DJs and music lovers alike, with fans including Aphex Twin, Pendulum, Zane Lowe and Rusko.

Armed with an unparalleled creative versatility, KOAN Sound have consistently pushed the boundaries of tempo and genre – while always staying true to their unique sound.

After a huge show at Clock Factory in 2024 alongside Sorrow, we’re buzzing to bring them back to Bristol for this exclusive homecoming show at Thekla.
